Non-Medication Stress and Depression Solutions

Since I discovered my addiction to stress, worry, and basic silliness almost 24 years ago I’ve been through every possible technique for reducing stress, increasing appetite, sleeping better, and generally feeling better. Regardless if you are using medication or not, it really comes down to how you look at your world and yourself .

Regardless of whether you use medication to help with depression or anxiety, how you treat your mind and body are critical to your over-all well being.

About 15 years ago I went on a journey taking me to all of the different holistic and organic approaches using diet as a form of prevention and treatment. Whether you are on medication for anxiety or depression, what you put in your body makes a monumental difference to how you feel.

Below is an outline of the way I regained control of my life and started feeling allot better about everything.

Exercise

Getting some mild exercise every day is a big big deal. It doesn’t have to be a big sweaty to work-out – just as short bit of exercise that creates perspiration will do. Sex is plenty enough to count as a good session of exercise. It’s not always easy to exercise everyday, but it’s a good goal. If you job has plenty of walking that is good enough right there.

Diet

Avoiding bad foods is HUGE. Avoiding drugs is a big deal to. This means illegal and legal drugs (recreational or otherwise). If you use drugs and/or alcohol for escape, I encourage you to rid your life of that practice. I know – I’ve tried all of the above and more to deal with my anxiety disorder.

Some so-called energy foods and drinks can help to some degree, and some of the new nutritional beverages can reduce your stress and well being considerably (eg. – Zrii). Fruit drinks like Zrii actually cleanse your body of toxins, acts as an anti-inflammatory, and slows down aging in human beings.

Surroundings

Controlling your surrounding and controlling you bombardment of information is critical as well. When you don’t entertain negative thoughts and the negative media of others, you are heading in the right direction towards cleaning your mind chatter, and processing the world the way life was meant to be.

So we don’t really have to use medication to calm down. We use organic consumables to clean ourselves out and feel better everyday. Try these ideas out and see how you feel.

Clear eyes, clear mind, and clear body do wonders for cutting down your stress. Consider at east trying these methods.
